Faith Gamer is a Particular Baptist (commonly known as Reformed Baptist) ministry that affirms the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. We share Scripture from the Authorised King James Version of the Protestant Bible first published in 1611.
We’re Calvinistic in our soteriology, and we affirm the five points of TULIP (total depravity/inability, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, perseverance/preservation of the saints).
About the Team
We’re a small crew. Faith Gamer is not our primary vocation, and we all have external jobs and/or obligations. Within our team, we have experience in relevant spaces such as:
- Gaming/tech blogging
- Indie game development
- Server administration
- Social media marketing
- Website design and development
We’re not currently accepting new team members, but it’s possible we may require additional future support in the following areas:
- Forum moderation
- Review writing and/or proofing

Our Position on Video Gaming
We’re aware that Christians hold to different convictions regarding video gaming. We believe friendly debates among believers can be edifying (Proverbs 27:17) and God-glorifying.
Our conviction is that video gaming as an activity is not inherently sinful or prohibited, and is something that can be appropriately enjoyed as part of responsible Christian liberty.

- We’re truly independent and self-funded
- We pay the same price as everyone else for the products we cover, and we don’t accept freebies
- We cover themes and content in video games and modern media from a Christian perspective
- We’re very selective about the media we cover, and won’t cover anything that glorifies sinful behaviour and encourages the real-life practice of it
- We try to keep our content as family-friendly as possible, but may discuss mature themes present in the media we’re covering
- We’ll never put up paywalls
- We have no plans to make use of affiliate links
- We collect no data whatsoever about our main website visitors, and we won’t share private data about our forum members with any third-parties (check out our S-tier Privacy Policy)
- All of our content, including words and voice-overs, are produced by humans
- We only use stock photos produced by real people, and we provide credit where possible

Why We Review Stuff
The answer is threefold:
- To inform Christians about elements and themes present in the video games/media that they are considering bringing into their home
- To point non-Christians to Christ whenever there are opportunities to discuss the gospel and the consequences of sin
- To promote sensible gaming/media consumption habits
